MPD Mobile Medical Unit Supports Houseless Community in Kihei 💙

On Monday, February 2, 2026, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and other essential resources to Maui's houseless community.
Mahalo to Community Partners:
Dr. Ricalde-Garcia: offered blood pressure testing for individuals, provided medical care kits, and medical non-critical wound care.
Imua Servcices: distributed hygiene kits, offered health insurance information and SNAP benefits.
Maui Drug Court: provided water and spoke with clients who were in the court system.
The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in February.
