MPD Mobile Medical Unit Serves Houseless Community in Kihei 💙

On Monday, January 5, 2026, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and other essential resources to Maui's houseless community.
Mahalo to Community Partners:
Imua Services: offered health insurance and SNAP benefits.
Maui Aids Foundation: distributed hygiene kits, other personal care items, provided various food, offered medical QUEST information and offered free STD testing.
The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in January.
