MPD Mobile Medical Unit Continues Outreach in Kihei 💙

On Monday, February 23, 2026, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and other essential resources to Maui's houseless community.

Mahalo to Community Partners:

Dr. Ricalde-Garcia: offered blood pressure testing for 10 individuals, provided medical care kits, and was available to provide medical non-critical wound care.

Goodwill Maui: provided 10 individuals with information on free services available.

Imua Servcices: distributed hygiene kits, offered health insurance information and SNAP benefits.

The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in February.
