MMEU Community Outreach Continues at Kalama Park đź’™

On Monday, September 14, 2026, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park offering Maui’s houseless community mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and much more.
Mahalo to Community Partner:
Imua Services: provided 11 participants with medical QUEST information.
Maui Aids Foundation: provided numerous participants with food, NARCAN and conducted one testing.
Dr. Ricalde-Garcia: provided wound hygiene care packages to participants.
A total of 30 participants stopped by and were provided with food, water, clothing, and other miscellaneous donated items.
The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei, during September between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
