MMEU Brings Vital Services to Kalama Park – July 21, 2025

On Monday, July 21, 2025, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and other essential resources to Maui's houseless community.

Mahalo to Community Partners:

Aloha House: provided seven participants with information regarding substance use and/or mental health services.

Dr. Ricalde-Garcia: provided blood pressure testing for individuals, provided medical care kits, and provided two participants with medical non-critical wound care.

Maui Aids Foundation: provided eight participants with medical information and provided free STD testing.

The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in August.
