August is Pedestrian Safety Month in Hawaii.

Pedestrian Safety Reminder:

- Nearly half of all fatal pedestrian crashes involve alcohol use — either by the driver or the pedestrian.

- Be aware. Don’t walk or drive impaired.

- Let’s all get home safely.
