Severe Weather Advisory: Avoid Flooded Roads and Travel Safely 🌧️

Due to severe weather, many roadways across Maui County are currently flooded or closed. The Maui Police Department urges the public to avoid unnecessary travel until conditions improve.

If you must be on the road, please remember:

* Do not drive through flooded roadways. The depth and strength of moving water can be deceptive and dangerous.

* Obey all road closure signs and barricades. They are in place for your safety.

* If traffic signals are out, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.

* Allow extra time and drive with caution.
