MPD Mobile Medical Unit Continues Outreach in Kahului 💙

On Monday, March 9, 2026, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and other essential resources to Maui's houseless community.

Mahalo to Community Partners:

Department of Education: distributed food, hygiene kits, and other personal care items.

Imua Services: distributed hygiene kits, offered health insurance information and SNAP benefits.

The MMEU will be stationed along Hoʻaloha Park, in Kahului, during the remainder of March between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
