MPD Honors Fallen Heroes at Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the Maui Police Department held its Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony at the Wailuku Police Station to pay tribute to seven of our fallen heroes who gave their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others:

Maui Police Officer Harry Fung (November 19, 1941)

Maui Police Officer Frank A.F. Kong (July 11, 1952)

Maui Police Officer William F. Roback Sr. (April 13, 1958)

Maui Police Officer Gene V. Williams (August 9, 1999)

Maui Police Officer Cerilo Agarano Jr. (November 9, 1999)

Haleakala Park Ranger Suzanne Roberts (September 14, 2004)

Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Special Agent John Bost III (July 28, 2020)

As we remember those who lost their lives in the line of duty, we also honor the brave men and women around the country who serve their communities, ensuring our safety and security.
