MPD Celebrates 2026 Summer Leadership Program

The Maui Police Department is proud to highlight the success of our 2026 Summer Leadership Program!

Over five weeks, Maui’s youth participated in leadership development, physical fitness, teamwork, community service, public speaking, and hands-on learning experiences with MPD personnel and community partners.

More than a summer program, this initiative invests in our youth, building confidence, responsibility, communication skills, and future leaders while strengthening positive relationships between our officers and the community we serve.

We look forward to continuing the Summer Leadership Program and inspiring the next generation of Maui’s leaders.
