MMEU Provides Support at Kalama Park on May 12

On Monday, May 12, 2025, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide Maui’s houseless community mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and much more.

Mahalo to Community Partners:

Aloha House: provided 20 participants with information regarding substance use and/or mental health services.

Department of Education: provided 20 participants with food, hygiene kits, hats, shoes, sunscreen, and other personal care items.

Maui Humane Society: provided animals with various services; vaccinations, distribution of food, dog toys, collars, leashes, and harnesses.

The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in May and June.
