MMEU Provides Services to Houseless at Kalama Park – June 23

On Monday, June 23, 2025, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide Maui’s houseless community mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and much more.
Mahalo to Community Partners:
Aloha House: provided 14 participants with information regarding substance use and/or mental health services.
Department of Education: distributed food, hygiene kits, and other personal care items.
Maui Aids Foundation: distributed food, hygiene kits, and other personal care items and offered medical QUEST information, and provided four free STD tests.
The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in June.
