On Monday, March 10, 2025, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide Maui’s houseless community mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and much more.
Mahalo to Community Partners:
Aloha House: provided 14 participants with information regarding substance use and/or mental health services.
Department of Education: distributed food, hygiene kits, hats, shoes, sunscreen, and other personal care items.
Goodwill Maui: provided participants with information on free services available.
Maui Aids Foundation: distributed food, hygiene kits, and other personal care items; offered medical QUEST information and free STD testing.
The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in March and April.
