MMEU Brings Vital Services to Kalama Park

On Monday, September 15, 2025, the MMEU (Mobile Medical Education Unit) was stationed at Kalama Park in Kihei to provide mental health services, food stamps, non-critical wound care, clothing, and other essential resources to Maui's houseless community.
Mahalo to Community Partners:
Dr. Ricalde-Garcia: provided blood pressure testing for individuals, provided medical care kits, and provided four participants with medical non-critical wound care.
Maui Aids Foundation: provided seven participants with medical information and provided free STD testing.
The MMEU will be stationed at Kalama Park, Kihei, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in September.
