Missing Person: Help Locate Alan Johnstone of Kahului

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Alan Johnstone (59) of Kahului.

Mr. Johnstone was reported missing by a concerned family member on Thursday, August 13, 2026. His last contact with his family was on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, via text message. Attempts to reach Mr. Johnstone via cell phone were unsuccessful.

He is known to operate a black 1998 Toyota Camry four-door sedan bearing Hawaii license plate LHN 352, and may be in the Kahului, Makawao, or Paia area.

Mr. Johnstone is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 185 pounds. He has grey hair and green eyes. It is unknown what he was last wearing.
