Missing Juveniles Update: Latanoa and Grace Taione Located Safely

Latanoa and Grace were located and found to be in good health. The Maui Police Department thanks the public for their assistance.

ORIGINAL:

The Maui Police Department requests the public’s assistance with any information on the whereabouts of Latanoa Taione (16) and Grace Taione (12) of Kahului.

Latanoa and Grace were reported missing by a concerned family member on Friday, October 24, 2025 after they had not returned home from the Kahului library, where they were last seen around 2:00 p.m. by another family member.

Neither Latanoa or Grace have a vehicle, calls to their cell phone have gone unanswered as their phones are turned off.

Latanoa is described as being Tongan, 5-feet tall, weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last wearing a red colored, crop top t-shirt with “WaiSide” in camouflage lettering, grey colored pants, and black “Reef” sandals. Latanoa has a piercing in both nostrils.

Grace is described as being Tongan, 5-feet tall, weighs about 145 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last wearing a grey colored “Maui Waena” school uniform shirt and black colored pants.
